The inode number represents the number of files (including email messages) and folders that you have uploaded to your server space. An excessive amount of inodes can hobble overall server performance, which is why shared hosting providers, like us, have a responsibility to make sure that each user maintains a reasonable amount of inodes in their account.

The inode limits as per our AUP/TOS is as follows:

Shared hosting accounts - 150,000 per account

Reseller accounts - 500,000 total of all accounts

VPS - 1,000,000

Dedicated Server - maximum server capacity
